The Book Archive is a Queer-owned, online and pop-up bookstore focused on making books accessible while championing diverse voices and stories. The goal is to help readers discover books that reflect the world around them, and the world they’ve never imagined.
THE BOOK ARCHIVE IN THEIR OWN WORDS
Hi, I’m Logan – I’m the Owner & Resident Reader of The Book Archive.
Opening a bookstore was once a daydream – one of those “maybe one day” ideas. Somehow, one day became right now, and The Book Archive was born.
My love of books has followed me from childhood memories to bookstore jobs and beyond, but it wasn’t until adulthood that I truly fell in love with stories – and the way they connect us. The Book Archive began as a way to bring more inclusive, diverse, and exciting books to readers across Canada. What started as a small idea has grown into something really special.
While we’re primarily an online bookstore, we’ve also stepped into pop-ups and markets, allowing us to meet readers face-to-face and share the stories we love most.
Whether you’re searching for a queer rom-com, a haunting Indigenous novel, or a feel-good fantasy you didn’t know you needed, we’re here to help you find it.
Thank you for being part of our story so far – here’s to the next chapter.
