All aboard the Bookstore Bus!
We’re chuffed that Edmonton Transit Service is returning to sponsor the Bookstore Bus on Saturday, April 25! The FREE TO RIDE Bookstore Bus will run on a North Side loop and South Side loop, every 30 minutes, from 12pm – 6pm. Yes, that means for bookstore lovers without access to a vehicle can still participate in the Extravaganza! Transfers (regular fare) at University – Corona. The bus route covers all central bookstores, but does not include Variant Editions or indies located in the suburbs.
New this year: Our pals at Edmonton Transit Riders are partnering with us to have friendly volunteers serve as Riders in Residence on the Bookstore Bus. They’ll serve as guides on your Bookstore Bus adventure! Think low-key Miss Frizzle, but with slightly less eccentric outfits (although don’t rule that out either).
